Visionary Modi’s Mission Sewa

Today, our nation is facing a tough challenge in the form of Covid-19 and the vicious gaze of China and Pakistan. There is a constant effort to destabilise and distort our age-old Vedic culture, which defines and explains that Bharat is a land of Tapobhoomi and Karmabhoomi, and we all follow the Dharma of Oneness. We follow the ideals that emphasise happiness to all, without any discrimination of caste, creed, religion or race. Our goal is to create an ambience of harmony and happiness and our culture considers the whole world to be one family. But our democracy has always been a victim of an alien mentality. We have been pushed into the trap of a conspiracy from divisive forces. These forces are there in our political system and outside of the country to create unrest in the society and act against the basics of our Bharatiya culture, which lays stress on aphorism: Nation First. No wonder, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, not only in India but in the whole world, India has created a very positive image of a growing nation. Repeated mention of villages, poor, farmers, deprived and exploited people in Modi’s talks, actions and plans is not without reason. Rather, these seem to be striving for their interests. With a view to realising the resolve to double the income of farmers, he announced a package of one lakh crore rupees for agricultural infrastructure fund and started the work of building ten thousand farmer producing groups. The decision to provide eight months free ration to about 80 crore people of the country through the poor welfare food scheme during the crisis of Corona shows Modi’s  true sensitivity towards the poor, the labourer and the deprived. Furthermore, the Modi government initiated a series of sewa projects for the uplift of the poor and the downtrodden, which have been enumerated in the cover story in Hindi edition this week. But, given the present scenario of campaign of calumny by the so-called secular parties and a section of the media, it seems there is no place for assurances of welfare governance, development and other democratic objectives. Therefore, they should focus their strength towards the vision for reaching out to those, who have remained away from whatever success of democratic rules in the last over 70 years. But they are busy opening up old social injuries that have kept sections of society divided.  These divisive forces are active in disseminating wrong information through fake and paid news, and conspiracy against the Modi government, which is working in the true spirit of Ekatm Manavvad for a Developed India. Not only Modi but competent leaders like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Prakash Javdekar, Piyush Goyal, and the whole Team Modi is working for a united Bharat, where justice for all and providing basic necessities to the last man of the society is the sole aim.

Against this backdrop, it is worth mentioning that the other day, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said in Parliament that though India wants a peaceful resolution of the India-China border issue, the House can be assured that we remain prepared to deal with all contingencies. India is very serious about issues of sovereignty and the country is prepared for all contingencies to ensure that it is maintained, said Rajnath Singh in what was seen as a strong warning to China amid repeated transgressions at the Line of Actual Control. Despite this stern warning to China, the Opposition leaders, especially those of the Congress criticised the government, seemingly depicting themselves to be the advocate of China’s cause. Hence, it cannot be gainsaid that the split Opposition in the country is striving hard to chalk out a way to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But they forget the fact that Narendra Modi, rooted in the moorings of party’s ideology, is respected as a disciplined leader, who rose from the lowest rung to being the Prime Minister of the country. A great orator, Modi has been celebrated for pronouncing clear view of Indian nationalism and integral humanism, and has been a proponent for the cause of the poor, the downtrodden and farmers. Modi has become a torchbearer of young India for a developed nation and has established a brand of nationalism in our country. During the Corona-like epidemic that rocked the developed countries from Europe to the United States, Modi’s leadership has been consummate. No one in the world had expected that a poor country like India would fight Corona in this way. The ideal he has set for hard work, service and duty in politics is an inspiration for his party workers and most of the countrymen. Hence, it can be rightly said that Modi’s catapulting to power indeed means change, and he has made the most mundane term development through sewa to be a big agenda for the wellbeing of the poor and the downtrodden.
