UP govt to increase Covid beds in Lucknow
The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to increase Covid beds immediately in Lucknow in the wake of the spike in Corona infection. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stressed for better coordination between health and medical education department and asked to connect all covid related services and activities to the integrated command and control centre.
The State Capital Lucknow is witnessing a surge in the cases of Covid infection. With the growing number of covid patients district administration has decided to impose restrictions in 4 police circles in the city.
In a special meeting focused on the scenario of covid infection in state capital Lucknow last night, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took stock of the latest situation and gave directions to the senior administrative officials and directors of Premier health institutes in the city to develop a standard operating procedure SOP for the treatment of patients. To stop the spread of infection in Lucknow Chief Minister has asked officials to ensure contract racing of the patients. He also instructed the chief secretary to appoint DG health in the state.
