Two terrorists killed in an encounter in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists have been killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Waghama Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district this morning.

According to police,  a joint team of Anantnag Police, Army’s 3 RR and CRPF laid a Cordon and Search Operation  on specific information about the presence of terrorists in Waghama area.

As the joint team of security forces approached  the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them.  The forces retaliated triggering an encounter resulting in the killing of two terrorists. The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.
