Two IAF Aircraft Crash Near Morena in MP

There has been a major air crash in Madhya Pradesh. Fighter aircraft Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 have crashed. According to a news agency, quoting defence sources as saying, the incident happened near Morena. It is being said that both the fighter jets were practicing when the accident happened. Giving information, the Collector of Morena said that the jet planes had crashed at 5:30 in the morning.

According to information, the plane crash happened near Madwali Mata on Nirar Road, about five km from Pahargarh. The people of Pahargarh area heard a loud noise in the forest. When they reached the spot, the wreckage of the aircraft was lying there and it was on fire. As soon as the news of the accident was received, the administration rushed to the spot.

The cause of the plane crash has not yet been ascertained. The police officer said that one person has died in this accident, while two people are reported to be injured. Defence sources also said that both the aircraft had taken off from the Gwalior air base in Madhya Pradesh. There was a practice going on.

It could not be confirmed whether the two fighter planes collided with each other or not. The Air Force will conduct a court of inquiry for this accident, which will see whether the two planes crashed into each other or there was some other reason. Sources said that there were two pilots in Sukhoi at the time of the accident, while Miraj had one pilot.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is keeping an eye on the accident. Rajnath Singh is in touch with CDS General Anil Chauhan and Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary. He was informed by VR Chowdhary about the crash of two planes.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the plane accident. He wrote on Twitter that the news of the crash of Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 aircraft of the Air Force in Morena is extremely sad. “I have instructed the local administration to cooperate with the Air Force in quick rescue and relief work. I pray to God that the pilots of the planes are safe,” he wrote.
