Tourism Day is seen as a milestone in the effort to promote global tourism and the purpose of celebrating this day is to spread awareness in the world about how tourism globally can help in promoting social, cultural, political and economic values and mutual understanding. Tourism has a special importance for countries like India. The archaeological heritages or cultural heritages of the country are not only for the philosophical, religious, cultural sites but they are also a source of revenue. The livelihood of many people is also attached to the tourism sectors. Today, looking at countries like India, preservation, promotion of old and historical buildings is being done in almost all the countries of the world.
