Too busy!

Updated: December 11, 2010 1:32 pm

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha president Anurag Thakur is too busy to give time for the working of BJYM. He has no time even for his general secretaries. One fellow from Yuva Morcha has expressed his disappointment saying that the previous president Amit Thakar was at least always available to Morcha workers. But now, whenever we try to meet our new president, we have to try many times, he lamented. So much so, even the general secretary has to call him several times for an appointment! Actually, Anurag Thakur has too many responsibilities. He is Member of Parliament, president of HPCC, holds a post in IPL, apart from being the son of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister. Therefore, he has very little time for BJYM. No wonder, even after almost six months, Yuva Morcha has not held a single meeting yet.

Sonia’s civility

UPA president Sonia Gandhi and his son Rahul Gandhi never forget courteousness required to be a successful politician. Not long ago, they both personally wished the senior BJP leader LK Advani on his birthday. They visited his Parliament office and wished him on his birthday. LK Advani was very surprised. Now the turn was of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. Once again Sonia and Rahul personally wished him on his birthday. He was also very surprised. However, it didn’t change his mind to support the opposition’s demand for JPC on 2G spectrum scam.

Corrupt practices

One senior woman leader of BJP is very worried from the news of the money laundering scam of UPA government. Her name is not involved directly, but some of her present and ex-colleagues have been dragged into the scam. It is to be noted that she is leading the BJP’s fight against corruption. She has accused another senior BJP leader of spreading and planting this type of news. One MP form Jharkhand, known to be her sycophant, informed the party leaders that a senior BJP leader is planting stories against the Madam. However, it is believed that Madam has managed this situation very easily due to her close contact with UPA president Sonia Gandhi.

Next CM?

It may be bad news for Uttarakhand CM Nishank. One ex-editor of RSS mouthpiece in Hindi Panchjanya, now in BJP, has everything going for him. He is said to be a favourite of LK Advani. It was his loyalty to Advani that he officially joined the party, was given a prominent post and also nominated for the Rajya Sabha. Now Advani has started to tell his fellows that he is seeing the next CM of Uttarakhand in him. Here it is worth mentioning that his colleague, i.e. former editor of RSS English mouthpiece Organiser, had also joined the BJP. But he is still searching his rightful place in the party.
