The Truth About Lying
SATIRICUS is generally a truthful person. He is no good at telling lies, and easily gets caught. So he thought his truthfulness was a congenital defect. But now the scientific truth about telling untruths has been revealed by researchers of an American university. They say a full bladder makes for a good lie. Now that is a problem for Satiricus. For when his bladder is full, he might rather go for a loo than for a lie. Then he might feel so relieved that he might even tell the truth rather than the lie he had thought of. A terrifying thought, to tell the truth.
