Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh visits forward post in Ladakh 

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited forward post in the Eastern Ladakh region today. After reaching Leh this morning Mr. Singh was received by the Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur and MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at the airport.

The Defence Minister was briefed by the senior IAF officials.

In Leh, Mr Rajnath Singh witnessed a demonstration of coordination between Indian Army and Airforce at Thiksey Rambirpur in Leh.

The Minister along with the Chief of Defence staff General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff MM Naravane and Northern Command LtGenl YK Joshi and senior army officers of Fire and Fury were present at the demonstration.

Later Mr Rajnath Singh left for Lukung a forward post near Pangong Tso , where he addressed the troops and paid rich tributes to the armed forces.
