Priyanka Joins Anne And Selena
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror Priyanka Chopra has lent her voice to the feature film Girl Rising directed by Oscar nominated director, Richard E Robbins. The actress has provided a voice-over in English and Hindi for the film which highlights nine stories of young women from around the world who have used education to rise above poverty and adversity. While the Indian story features Priyanka voice, the film also has voiceovers by Academy Award winning actress Anne Hathaway and pop star Selena Gomez. The Indian story has been written by Sooni Taraporewala, the award winning screenwriter of films like Mississipi Masala and Salaam Bombay.
Bonding Between Hrithik And Katrina
While 2013 has been a year which Hrithik will not forget, it seems, he has found himself a friend in 2014. First, the actor was knocked out of action by a freak accident on the sets of Bang Bang, second his marriage of 13 years with childhood sweetheart, Susanne, came to an end. Earlier this month, he flew down to Manali to resume work on Bang Bang, was joined by Katrina Kaif . it seems that he has found a good friend in her. Hrithik and Katrina both are recovering from recent heartbreaks and have found an anchor in each other.
Sonakshi Refuses Mani Ratnam
Mani Ratnam’s upcoming bilingual has already created quite a buzz. After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is making a comeback after a long maternity leave with this film, Shruti Haasan has also been signed. For the third heroine, the filmmaker had approached Sonakshi Sinha, but it is learnt that the actress has refused the offer. She refused the offer, as she has prior commitments and didn’t have the required dates for Mani Ratnam’s film. This is the second film Sonakshi has refused in the last month. A few days ago, she turned down Subhash Ghai’s offer to play Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur in his film on the Indian national who spent 22 years in a Pakistani prison for charges that were never proved, before breathing his last in 2013.
Ranbir To Play Himself
Ranbir Kapoor is making a special appearance in the Nitesh Tewari directed horror comedy Bhootnath Returns, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap and National Award-winning actress Usha Jadhav. He will be playing himself in the movie. Ranbir has shot his portions of the film. Shahrukh khan is also doing a cameo in the film. He will be seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan. Ranbir also did the popular item number, Tai Tai Phiss, for Nitesh’s earlier film Chillar Party.
