Pakistan’s deep hatred for India was further exposed when Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of the Bhutto-Zardari family launched a personal verbal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. It is noteworthy that earlier our Foreign Minister S Jaishankar called Pakistan the center of global terrorism during his address in New York.

Taking the name of PM Modi, son of former Pakistan PM Benazir Bhutto and grandson of hanged former Pakistan PM Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, Bilawal accused India of targeting terrorist Hafiz Saeed and spreading terror in Pakistan. During this, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan crossed all limits and made a personal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “Osama bin Laden is dead, but the ‘Butcher of Gujarat’ is still alive and he is the Prime Minister of India.

It is worth mentioning here that while Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto was hanged during the military dictatorship of General Zia ul Haq, Bilawal’s mother was shot during the regime of dictator General Pervez Musharraf.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Zardari was trying to counter the allegations made by our Foreign Minister S Jaishankar in the UN Security Council. Zardari’s personal attack against PM Modi appears to be a deliberate one. Since the attack on Pathankot air base by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed in January 2016, there have been no talks between India and Pakistan. Pakistan is very dismayed that on August 5, 2019, the Modi government repealed Articles 370 and 35A in Kashmir. On this, apart from China, no country in the world came in its support.

Pakistan’s fury is also about surgical and air strikes. Apart from this, Zardari is also spewing venom against PM Modi for the purpose of polarization of Islamic fundamentalist votes in the upcoming general elections in Pakistan.
