Over 117 crore 63 lakh doses of COVID vaccine administered in country so far

Over 117 crore 63 lakh doses of COVID vaccine has been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 71 lakh 92 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said, 12 thousand 202 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.32 per cent. Till now, more than three crore 39 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19.

The country reported seven thousand 579 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload is around one lakh 13 thousand. Presently the active cases constitute 0.33 per cent of the country’s total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March last year.

The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 63 crore 34 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far .
