Odisha administered over 1 crore doses of covid-19 vaccines so far
In Odisha, 3 lakh 25 thousand beneficiaries were vaccinated against covid-19 yesterday. State Health department had planned about 1600 session sites across the state for the vaccination. While the state so far has administered more than 1 crore doses of covid-19 vaccines, people above 45 years of age totalling up to about 73 lakh have received either their first or both doses of the vaccines.
As many as 21 lakh beneficiaries in the age bracket of 18 to 44 have also been given the vaccine jabs till date. Meanwhile, the state government has directed all the collectors to arrange for the vaccination of Nepali nationals in the state in accordance with the SOP for covid vaccination of persons without prescribed identity cards.
