More than 103 crore 53 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 55 lakh 89 thousand doses were administered yesterday.
India reported more than 13 thousand new cases during the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh 62 thousand 661 and it is the lowest in 242 days. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.48 per cent, the lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 98.19 per cent, highest since March last year. Over 14 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 35 lakh 97 thousand 339.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.22 per cent which is less than two per cent for the last 33 days. Daily positivity rate is at 1.03 per cent which is less than two per cent for last 23 days.
The death toll due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 55 thousand 653. In the last 24 hours, 585 deaths were reported.
Health Ministry said, over 60 crore 32 lakh COVID tests have been conducted across the country so far.
