Manish Sisodia to celebrate holi in jail
The decision of the Rouse Avenue Court has been reserved on the bail of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who was taken into the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation in the matter of excise policy in the national capital Delhi. Now there will be a hearing on Sisodia’s bail at 2.00 pm on March 10. There is talk of fixing the date of hearing regarding the bail application. Manish Sisodia’s side has been told that the festival is for him too, give him bail, he is ready to come back again on the 9th.
But the court said that if you think that the remand order is wrong, you can challenge it in the High Court. The defence says that the health of Manish Sisodia’s wife is not good. CBI said that so far Manish Sisodia has been made face to face with some officers. The CBI further said that a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Manish Sisodia, hence the time was spent there. Different witnesses have to be made face to face. CBI has sought remand for 3 more days.
The court asked how many hours till now the interrogation was done. In response to this, the CBI said that Sisodia is still not cooperating.
