Mahanadi Coalfields Limited signs MoU with NBCC to build Medical College in Talcher

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of state-owned Coal India, signed an MoU with public sector construction major NBCC for setting-up a 100-seat medical college at Talcher in Odisha. The construction work for the Rs 492.62 crore medical college at Talcher will commence shortly, a company release said. The medical college to be set up on 20 acres of land in Talcher coalfields area will have academic and residential blocks with 300-bedded boys’ hostel, 200-bedded girls’ hostel, interns’ and nurses’ hostel.
