IPL Cricket; Delhi Capitals beat SunRisers Hyderabad by eight wickets
In IPL Cricket, Delhi Capitals defeated SunRisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at the Dubai International Stadium last night. Chasing a target of 135 runs, Delhi overhauled the score in 17.5 overs. Shreyas Iyer who was making his comeback after an injury, was the top scorer for his team, contributing unbeaten 47 runs.
Shikhar Dhawan with 41 and Rishabh Pant with unbeaten 35 runs also played their part brilliantly.
Earlier, electing to bat, Hyderabad posted a total of 134 runs where no batter was able to cross the mark of 30 runs. Kagiso Rabada was the leading wicket-taker for Delhi with his three wickets while Anrich Nortje and Axar Patel got two wickets each. Anrich was declared Player of the Match.
Today, Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi at 07:30 pm.
