IndianOil launches first charging station in Nagpur
India’s downstream energy major Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IndianOil), in collaboration with Ola, has taken a big leap towards contributing to the vision of Green India by launching the country’s first electric charging station at one of its petrol/diesel stations here today.
The Electric Charging Facility was inaugurated by Mr. Murali Srinivasan, IndianOil’s Executive Director, Maharashtra State Office, and Mr. Arvind Raghvendra, VP-Ola, at IndianOil’s Company-Owned, Company-Operated (COCO) fuel station at RBI Square, Nagpur, in the presence of senior officials, dealers and customers.
Nagpur, being first city to introduce Electric Public Transportation Model in India, has added one more feather to its cap by adding the first Electric Charging Station at IndianOil’s COCO fuel station in the city.
