Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Earlier, the Chief Minister tested negative on Thursday and he had home quarantined himself as a precautionary measure for three days. He went for COVID test after the Union Minister Gajender Singh Shekhawat had tested positive, with whom he had attended a virtual meeting with Punjab Chief Minister on Sutlej- Yamuna Link Canal issue.
The Chief Minister, in a tweet, said that he tested positive for Novel Coronavirus infection. He has appealed to his colleagues and associates who came in his contact over the last week to get themselves tested and requested them to move into strict quarantine immediately.
