Gujarat govt to procure wheat from April 27

Gujarat government will start procurement of wheat at Minimum Support Price from April 27th. Chief Minister’s Secretary Ashwini Kumar said, the procurement process will continue till May 31st. The government also launched the third edition of its water conservation drive, called Sujalama Sufalam Yojana yesterday. The scheme is aimed at deepening water bodies in the state before monsoon. Under the drive, MNREGA activities will also be resumed in the state with people’s participation.
