T.T Limited signs World No 1 wrestler from India, Bajrang Punia as its brand ambassador. Wrestling is a sport which epitomises strength, courage and intelligence and is one of the most popular sport amongst men especially in the Hindi heartland. TT Limited Managing Director Sanjay K Jain said they wanted a “Real Hero” as their brand ambassador and not a filmy hero as most other brands in the innerwear category. Bajrang Punia has won the Asian Games and World Championship and is one of best prospects for an Olympic Gold Medal.
TT Limited offers the complete range of innerwear, casual wear and active wear for men, women and kids and sells pan India through both organised retail chains, EBOs by name of TT Bazaar and through distributors / wholsellers. NHPC Signs MoU with Ministry of Power for the year 2019-20
NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower utility and a Scheduled ‘A’ Mini Ratna Enterprise of the Government of India has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 26.06.2019 with Ministry of Power, Government of India for the year 2019-20. The MoU was signed by Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India and Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC in the presence of senior officers from MOP and NHPC.
In the signed MoU for NHPC, generation target under excellent rating has been set as 26000 MU as against last year target of 25400 MU. Excellent Targets for Revenue from Operations (Net) has been kept as Rs. 8200 crores, Operating Profit as a percentage of Revenue from Operations (Net) has been kept as 28.50% and PAT/ Average Net Worth has been kept as 8.75 %.
NTPC 17th Foreign Lenders Meet at Mumbai
NTPC held its 17th Foreign Lenders Meet in Mumbai on 25th June 2019. The meet was aimed to brief the representatives of the foreign banks and financial institutions about the company’s Operational and Financial performance during the financial year 2018-19, growth plans and funding requirements, etc. for the future.
A detailed presentation was made by A.K.Gautam, ED (Finance), covering various aspects of NTPC’s performance and future growth plans. International credit rating agencies S&P, Fitch and Moody’s presented their perspective on the company credit quality, trends in the power sector in the APAC region, prospects and developments in the Indian Power Sector.
Shri K Sreekant, Director (Finance), Sudhir Arya, CFO, and A.K.Gautam, ED (Finance) interacted with the lenders and answered their queries. Around 50 representatives from various financial institutions, banks attended the meet.
NSIC Signs MoU with CSC – eGovernance Services India
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed MoU with Common Service Centres (CSC) e-Governance Services India for enhancing new offerings for the MSME sector by synergizing each others competence. The MoU was signed by Ram Mohan Mishra, AS&DC (MSME) and CMD, NSIC and by Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, CEO, CSC e-Governance Services India Limited on 22nd June 2019 at New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Mohan Mishra, CMD, NSIC stated that this MoU will have special focus on providing services to village level entrepreneurs (VLEs) and would to lead to exponential growth of Village Entrepreneurs in the country. The MoU will also enable CSCs to utilize plethora of NSIC offerings through the NSIC portal: www.msmemart.com. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, CEO, CSC said that CSC will facilitate VLEs and MSMEs through digital empowerment in accessing NSIC integrated support services encompassing Marketing, Finance, Technology and other offerings.
Raksha Rajya Mantri Visited GSL
Shripad Naik, Union Minister of State (I/c) for AYUSH & Raksha Rajya Mantri, Govt. of India visited GSL on 10th June 2019. During the visit, RRM reviewed the Projects being executed by GSL as well as its future plans, including the Missile Frigate Project and MCMV Project. Minister laid the keel for 5th Coast Guard OPV, under construction at GSL in the presence of Cmde B B Nagpal, CMD GSL and other senior officials of GSL, Indian Coast Guard & Navy. He was given detailed presentation by Cmde B B Nagpal, NM, IN (Retd), CMD GSL on progress of ongoing 5 CGOPV Project, upcoming infrastructure as well as GSL’s efforts towards Indigenization, AI etc.
RRM was conducted around the shipyard and was taken to the upcoming Infrastructure sites under advanced phase of completion, which will provide GSL indigenous capability to build weapon intensive high tech Ships for Defence and for Exports.
RRM took keen interest in ongoing construction of ships, ongoing modernization, employees’ welfare schemes, implementation of Govt policies etc and urged GSL to continue the good work of delivering ships on time and efforts in export market.
HPCL ties up with Ashok Leyland for ‘Sadak Ke Saathi’
HPCL and Ashok Leyland launched a unique break down maintenance solution titled “Sadak Ka Saathi” for DriveTrack Plus customers. Under this arrangement, any break down of any make of truck will be attended in 4 hours and if it gets necessitated, free towing will be done to the nearest workshop for further repairs. This is further to the already existing strategic agreements between the two companies for co-branded products “eN-Dhan” on DriveTrack Plus platform.
An agreement to this effect was signed by Gopal Mahadevan, President – CSB and CFO, Ashok Leyland and Ch Srinivas, GM – L&PS, HPCL in presence of Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman, Ashok Leyland, GSV Prasad, ED- Retail and other senior officials.
