After Nasir Hussain’s 1973 action-drama, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, which revolved around three brothers separated by fate, played by Dharmendra, Vijay Arora and Tariq Khan, we now have a Yaaron Ki Baaraat revolving around three friends who are yet to be cast. But Vinod Bachchan roped in Sunny Leone a fortnight ago for his comic caper which will mark the directorial debut of Ikram Akhtar who has penned the Salman Khan-starrer, Ready, and Akshay Kumar’s Thank You. “Sunny plays a Punjabi girl who even though has studied abroad, sports a traditional wardrobe and her dialogue will be sprinkled with some Punjabi tadka,” claims a Mumbai Mirror report, adding tongue-in-cheek that despite the “sanskari” image Sunny will steam up the imagination of the three dosts and also the male audience. Shooting begins in March.
