Chi Chi Finally Canned

After refusing Salman Khan’s Hindi remake of the Marathi hit Shikshahanchya Aaicha Gho and Vikas Bahl’s Shaandar, Govinda has finally picked a film. Now it is learnt that the actor will be seen making a cameo in his choreographer friend Ganesh Acharya’s upcoming production. Titled Hey Bro, the film is comedy revolving around twin brothers. The film will also see Ganesh showing off his acting chops while Govinda has already shot his bit. Govinda plays a drunkard on the street. Ganesh, has choreographed Govinda in a number of hits including Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Coolie No.1 and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Govinda agreed to do his part in the film on a day’s notice, as Ganesh and he share more than a mere professional relationship.

Deepika Is ‘Virgin’

Recently the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) told Homi Adajania that if he wanted his upcoming film, Finding Fanny, to be passed with a U/A certificate, he’d have to chop off a “vulgar” line in which leading lady Deepika Padukone tells Arjun Kapoor, “I am a virgin”. Now it is learnt that the line has been cleared by Chairperson of the CBFC, Leela Samson and is back in the film. CBFC chairperson Leela Samson admits that deleting the line was a mistake and it needed to be rectified, which was done promptly. The issue came to the fore as the line had been passed earlier in the trailers and was being asked to snip off for this film.

Shahid And Alia Are Insomniacs

After playing a vengeful boy in his upcoming flick Haider, chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor is up for another experimental role in his next. If the buzz is to be believed then both Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will play characters suffering from insomnia in Vikas Bahl’s next Shaandaar.

Shahid and Alia’s characters in the film are bizzare. The couple apparently meets during a wedding and their common problem helps them bond.

Filmmaker Vikas Bahl and his team of writers reportedly did a lot of research on insomnia and also presented some study material to the two lead actors so that they could get familiar with the problem and its nuances. The shooting for the flick began recently in the UK. Besides Shahid and Alia, Shandaar will also stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and will mark the acting debut of his sister Sanah. It is slated to hit the silver screen later in 2015.

Tusshar To Romance Sunny Leone

After creating a sizzling chemistry in the ‘Laila’ song of Shootout in Wadalaa, Tusshar Kapoor and porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone are all set to share the screen once again. If the sources are to be believed, Tusshar will soon be seen romancing Sunny in an upcoming sex comedy.

The film titled Mastizaade will be directed by Grand Masti fame director Milap Zaveri. Besides the two actors, the film will also star Vir Das. Sizzling Sunny, who made her debut with the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, is one of the most sought after actress in the industry these days. Currently, she is busy shooting for Ahmed Khan’s Leela along with Jay Bhanushali in Jaipur.

On the other hand, Tusshar Kapoor was last seen in 2013 film Bajatey Raho. Mastizaade will not be his first sex comedy, the actor has already been a part two such films—Kya Kool Hain Hum and its sequel Kyaa Super Kool Hain.
