Chhattisgarh’s populist budget: Youth will get Rs 2500 monthly unemployment allowance

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is presenting the budget in the Chhattisgarh assembly. This is the last budget of the tenure of CM Baghel. During this, the CM listed the achievements of the government. Along with this, the CM presented the survey of the economic condition of the state. The CM made many important announcements. The state government is presenting the budget in the name of ‘Budget of trust’.

CM Bhupesh Baghel said that we have given the status of rice bowl to Chhattisgarh. One crore lakh metric tonnes per year have been produced. New Fertilizer Laboratory will be established at Rajnandgaon, Raigarh district. Provision has been made to establish a new laboratory in Raipur for quality testing of chemical and organic pesticides. Center of Excellence will be established in Raipur Atal Nagar for demonstration of modern techniques. At the same time, a provision of two crores was made for the establishment of a research center in the development block headquarters to provide quality plants to the farmers.

Announcement was also meda of unemployment allowance of Rs. 2500 to unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 whose annual family income is less than 2.5 lakh and registered. The allowance of Anganwadi workers was increased from 6500 to 10 thousand. The allowance of Anganwadi assistants was increased from 3550 to 5 thousand. CM announced light metro from Nava Raipur to Durg. 101 Naveen Swami Atmanand English medium schools will be opened. New medical colleges in Manendragarh, Janjgir, Kawardha and Gidam will be opened.

A new scheme will be started to give unemployment allowance to the educated unemployed. The increase is made in the honorarium of the cooks under the mid-day meal, the cook of the mid-day meal.
