Ceasefire violation by Pak on LoC, India retaliates

PaK army initiated unprovoked firing with small arms & intense shelling with Mortars along the LoC in Balakote & Mendhar sectors in District Poonch.

PRO defence said PaK Army violated ceasefire violation along the LoC in Balakote & Mendhar Sectors in District Poonch at about 2230 hours. He said Indian troops guarding the fence retaliated befittingly. There are no reports of loss of any life and damage to any property from our side yet added the PRO.
