By-polls counting presents a mixed bag

Samajwadi Party is presenting an impressive show in Uttar Pradesh as it is leading in all three seats. Dimple Yadav of SP is leading in Mainpuri Parliamentary seat. In the Assembly-by polls, Madan Bhaiya of RLD- SP is leading by 11,387 votes in Khatauli assembly seat. Mohd. Asim Raja of SP is leading in Rampur assembly seat.
In Bihar, Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP won the Kurhani Assembly seat, as he defeated his nearest rival Manoj Kumar Singh of JD(U) by a margin of 3,632 votes. Kedar Prasad Gupta of BJP got 76,648  votes while Manoj Kumar Singh of JD(U) got 73016.

In Odisha, Biju Janta Dal candidate Barsha Singh Bariha is leading in the Padampur seat. In Chhattisgarh, Congress candidate Savitri Manoj Mandavi is leading in Bhanupratappur seat. In Rajasthan, Anil Kumar Sharma of Congress is leading from Sardarshahar seat.
