Tomatoes are by far the healthiest of all fruits and vegetables, with the power to ward off some of the worst-known diseases to man. Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene—one of the most powerful natural antioxidant. Lycopene is not naturally produced within our body and, therefore, requires a source in order to produce this powerful antioxidant. There are many fruits and vegetables that contain lycopene but tomatoes have the highest concentration of lycopene.
