I personally prefer to drink soup during winters. It is quiet refreshing to have a cup of hot soup late in the chilly winter evening. Probably we all do. Other than winters do you have the habit of drinking soup before meal? I guess many people do not have this habit unless when eating out at a restaurant. Drinking soup is good for health, say nutrition experts. You may be surprised to know that drinking certain soups reduce weight. Ladies can get rid of many of their illnesses like breast cancer, bone loss, tiredness, and obesity with the help of soup. Nutritionally, it is very beneficial as all the nutrients found in vegetables including many water soluble vitamins such as B, C, K as well as dietary fibre and a range of minerals ensure that we get a number of key nutrients we need each day.

Soy bean soup: Soy bean reduces the risk of breast cancer and cholesterol too. Soup with soya milk is good for those who suffer from high cholesterol.
Deficiency of iron, haemoglobin makes women weak. Lack of awareness about nutrition, irregular food habits and other illness may lead to anaemia. A recent study tells us that every third person above 50 years in India is suffering from iron deficiency. These people should take care of their iron, calcium levels by eating more of leafy vegetables. Tomato soup is very beneficial for them.
