Arjun becomes ‘Daddy’

The shoot of a biopic on gangster-turned politician Arun Gawli, Daddy, announced last year, has been going on in full swing in Versova Gaon over the last few days.  A set resembling the Dagdi chawl has been created and some family members and friends of Gawli are always present during the shoot to ensure authenticity.  Arjun Rampal looks like a convincing Gawli. South actress Aishwarya Rajesh plays Asha Gawli and diction trainers are making sure they get their Marathi and Konkani accents right.  Recently, the two filmed a Ganpati song which ends with an attack from a rival gang. Arjun has several action scenes with more planned over the next schedule.
