Anti-Ageing With Little Care

It is said, grey gracefully. Ageing is something everybody has to face but it is important to age gracefully. Instead of going for expensive and time consuming techniques like going to beauty parlour or a skin specialist, here are a few remedies for you to try to keep looking fresh, youthful and not to show the sign of ageing. These remedies save your time and money and are very effective at the same time.

Nutrious food           

A proper anti-ageing nutrition can lessen the effects of ageing process. There are certain preventive measures to follow to reduce the risk of osteoporosis, heart disease, memory loss and other ailments conditions associated with old age.

■     Your food should contain fibre to avoid constipation, obesity, colon cancer, heart     disease, high blood sugar and cholesterol.

■     Food that contains fibre are brown rice, broccoli, spinach, berries, whole grain bread, peas, beans, nuts, seeds, oats, and fruits both fresh and dried.

■     Anti-oxidants is found in food that are rich in vitamin A like milk, carrots, liver, and egg yolk and also food which are rich in vitamin C like fruits, orange juice, beef, and cereals. Vitamin E is found in nuts, broccoli, wheat gram, mangoes and almonds.

■             Important nutrients like lycopene, a strong anti-oxidant found in tomatoes, apricot, water-melon and beta carotene, found in sweet potatoes, mangoes and in green leafy vegetables also act as an anti-ageing agents.

■     Vitamin D help body absorb calcium. People who take vitamin D are less likely to suffer from osteoporosis. Studies also show that vitamin D even reduces the severity of back pain.

Skin Care

■     Apply castor oil on the skin to soften your skin and remove wrinkles.

■     Hard work tells on your face as a result the eyes get wrinkled with age and you look very tired. Apply best quality honey around your eyes to get rid of the wrinkles.

■     Adding sugarcane juice to turmeric powder and applying the paste on the face helps to control wrinkles very effectively and prevents the skin from ageing.

■     Milk is one of the gentle and effective ways of removing dead skin cells. This gives a glowing skin naturally. Lactic acid in milk helps generate new skin cells. This is a good remedy to improve your skin’s texture. Apply little milk daily at night after washing your face helps in giving the skin a natural glow.

■     Massage is also effective a home remedy for anti-ageing. It helps in increasing the blood circulation, resulting in tightening of the muscles and tissues, restoring a young look. Always massage upward from the neck to the forehead.
