Punjab’s Ajnala Court has ordered the release of Lovepreet Toofan, an aide of Amritpal Singh. He will be released in a while. SSP Rural, Amritsar Satinder Singh said that an application was given to release him (Lovepreet Toofan). The court has ordered his release. He will be released from Amritsar jail today.

It is noteworthy that on Thursday thousands of people associated with ‘Waris Punjab De’ created a ruckus at Ajnala in Amritsar. They also attacked the police station. These people had guns and swords in their hands. These people were protesting against the arrest of Lovepreet Toofan, a close aide of Amritpal Singh, head of ‘Waris Punjab De’ organisation. Amritpal Singh is a self-proclaimed religious preacher who sympathizes with Khalistan.

The police had registered a case against Amritpal Singh and his supporters for kidnapping a person. Under the leadership of Singh, hundreds of supporters carrying swords and other weapons gathered at the police station in Ajnala, Amritsar. They also broke the barricades, put up by the police.

Amritpal Singh openly raised the issue of Khalistan from the police station after storming the police station on Thursday regarding the release of his colleague Lovepreet Toofan. He had said that we are taking forward the issue of Khalistan in a very peaceful manner.

Amritpal said that the late PM Indira Gandhi had to pay the price for opposing Khalistan. No one can stop us, be it PM Modi, Amit Shah or Bhagwant Mann. This is not the first time that the issue of Khalistan has come to the fore in this way. Recently the Khalistan movement has also been seen in Canada, Australia and the UK.

Amritpal Singh also directly threatened Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the demand for Khalistan. Singh said that Amit Shah had said that he would not allow the Khalistan movement to move forward. I had said that Indira Gandhi had also done the same. If you do the same, then you will have to face the consequences.

If the Home Minister says the same for those who demand Hindu Rashtra, then I will see whether he can continue on the post of Home Minister or not. He said that when people can demand Hindu Rashtra, then why can’t we demand Khalistan. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi paid the price for opposing Khalistan. No one can stop us, be it PM Modi, Amit Shah or Bhagwant Mann.
