AAP getting national status: Its bane or boon
In fact, after winning big in Delhi and Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party has moved fast towards becoming a national party. In the last several state elections, the Aam Aadmi Party also tried for this target. However, the benefit was not available then. Now the Aam Aadmi Party is ahead in six seats in Gujarat and has got about 15 per cent votes. In such a situation, Aam Aadmi Party will get the status of ‘National Political Party’.
At present, there is Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi and Punjab. The Aam Aadmi Party got 6.8 per cent of the total votes in the Goa assembly elections as well. Two of its candidates had won there. In the month of August itself, according to the announcement of the Election Commission, AAP became a recognized party in Goa as well. Now Kejriwal’s party will get recognition in Gujarat also. In such a situation, now it will officially get the status of a national party.
But with Aam Aadmi Party getting national status, will it be beneficial or harmful for the country? For, ever since the Aam Aadmi Party government came to power in Delhi and Punjab, the anti-national forces have started raising their voices against the country. It is quite evident in Punjab, law and order situation is down and consumption of drugs is up. It cannot be gainsaid that in the election, AAP cadres used Khalistani leaders’ name, fame and money. Here it is worth mentioning that it is the AAM party that asked for witnesses from the Indian army in support of its surgical strike in Pakistan. The anti-national agenda of AAP is unacceptable to the country, hence the patriotic citizens of the country gave a befitting reply to those who talk about division of the country.
