J&K govt so far evacuated over 1 lakh stranded residents

As part of the evaucation process of stranded residents of the UT of J&K from other parts of the country, stranded due to Covid-19 lockdown, J&K Government has so far evacuated more than 1 lakh 12 thousand stranded residents.

J&K Government has evacuated nearly 1, 12, 513 stranded residents amidst strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. J&K administration has received 45 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different states and UTs, with 35,278 stranded passengers while about 77,235 persons have been evacuated through Lakhanpur till date.
