Gujarat govt announces hike in payment of Anganwadi women

Gujarat Government has announced the hike in payment of Anganwadi women. This was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel in the state assembly today.

Making the statement under rule 44, Mr. Patel has said that Anganwadi women will get Rs.7800, Tedagar women will get Rs.3,950 and mini Anganwadi women will get Rs.4400 with effect from March 2019.

He said that arrears from March 2019 to February 2020 will be paid in three installments. He said that more than 53 thousand women will get the benefit of this decision.
