Polling starts in four parliamentary constituencies of Bihar

In Bihar, polling has started in four parliamentary constituencies – Gaya, Nawada, Aurangabad and Jamui amidst tight security arrangements. Simultaneously, bypoll to Nawada assembly constituency is also being held.

Election commission is keeping constant watch over the process of polling by live webcasting from 350 polling stations and videography of the whole process at polling booths.

Bihar Chief Electoral Officer has se up a separate election control room in Patna to entertain any kind of election related complain, grievance and information. Two helicopters have been pressed into the service for air surveillance.
