“Patanjali is now an international brand. We will fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of Swadeshi in Bharat. British looted us politically and economically till 1947, we got political freedom in 1947 but economically they are still exploiting us. But Patanjali has given them a taut competition with the help of billion Bharatiyas. We are proud that total profit of Patanjali goes for the welfare of people. Complete alcohol prohibition of Bihar Government is a welcome step, every state should follow it,” said yoga guru Swami Ramdev, India’s one of the emerging FMCG entrepreneurs at a press event held recently in Delhi. “Patanjali’s target is to achieve 150 per cent growth in the year of 2016-17. We will set up five to six processing units in Assam, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Out of these, four will be fully functional within this year,” said Acharya Balakrihsna, while addressing the press meet.
