There was a lot of uproar in the Bihar Legislative Assembly regarding the prohibition of liquor. During this, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar got excited and started reminding the BJP members that they too had supported it and had taken an oath to make it successful. In fact, Leader of the Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha questioned the liquor ban of the state government in view of the deaths due to spurious liquor in Chhapra and during this Nitish Kumar lost his temper in the state assembly.

In anger, Nitish pointed towards the BJP MLAs and said – what happened. Shut up. There is a lot of resentment among the BJP MLAs due to this behavior of the Chief Minister. They have demanded that Nitish Kumar should apologise. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the House were adjourned.

In fact, 18 people died after allegedly drinking spurious liquor in Isuapur and Mashrak police station area in Saran, Bihar. According to the relatives of the deceased, the death was caused by drinking alcohol. However, the administration is maintaining silence on this issue. It is being said that many people are also admitted to the hospital. All the top police officers have reached the area and are conducting the investigation.

Meanwhile, a strange statement of Prohibition Minister Sunil Kumar on deaths due to spurious liquor has come to the fore . He said that even during the British era laws were made, even then the law used to be broken. The British also made a law, but even after this, rapes and murders are happening, aren’t they? Prohibition is also like that. When liquor is being sold, the police is also taking action. Death due to alcohol is happening in other states as well, he said.
