Delhi facing high pollution due to dust from Rajasthan

Delhi is witnessing high pollution levels mainly due to dust storms from Rajasthan. MeT Department has said the current surface winds are likely to continue over the next three days resulting into dusty conditions to prevail for the same period.

Environment Ministry said in a statement that the high pollution levels during this time of the year are unusual. It said, Rajasthan is facing extremely dry weather conditions, with high temperatures and wind speeds which is the cause of dust storms in the national capital.
