Samsung has introduced the 360 Round, a new camera for developing and streaming high-quality 3D content for specialists and enthusiasts who demand a superior virtual reality (VR) experience. Announced at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC 2017), the Samsung 360 Round uses 17 lenses—eight stereo pairs positioned horizontally and one single lens positioned vertically—to livestream 4K 3D video and spatial audio, and create engaging 3D images with depth.

The 360 Round’s durable, compact design features IP651 water and dust resistance for use in everyday weather conditions and a fanless design to reduce weight and eliminate background noise. With additional features, including PC software for controlling and stitching and expandable external storage2, the 360 Round provides long lasting shooting for any sized job.



Ola partners with Microsoft to build new vehicle platform for the future


Together with Microsoft, Ola is building a new connected vehicle platform for car manufacturers worldwide. As part of this strategic partnership, Ola announced that Microsoft will be a preferred cloud provider and will use Microsoft Azure to power Ola Play, the company’s existing connected car platform.

This will transform driver and passenger experiences with vehicle diagnostics, improved in-car productivity, advanced navigation, predictive maintenance of vehicles and more. Both companies will collaborate to take this platform to car manufacturers globally, to integrate with vehicle systems.



Alcatel A5 LED and A7 launched in India, price starts at Rs 12999


Alcatel has extended its product portfolio with the launch of two new smartphones in India. The company has launched Alcatel A5 LED and A7. The company introduced both the smartphones at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Both devices come with one-time free screen replacement and 20GB additional data from Reliance Jio.

Gadget Now reports, The Alcatel A5 LED comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution.

The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core Mediatek MT6753 processor. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further via microSD card. The dual SIM device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper for selfies. It is backed by a 2800mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
