TCS’s Digital Revenue Close To $2 Bn

It seems Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the India’s largest information technology services provider, is moving in the right direction on digital strategy. The company for the first time disclosed that digital revenue was 12.5 per cent of the consolidated revenue, slightly lower than the $2 billion mark. TCS ended FY15 with a total revenue of $15.5 billion. N Chandrasekaran, chief executive officer and managing director, said: “Demand from our core markets like North America and greater traction for ‘digital’ solutions in key verticals such as financial services, retail and life sciences has driven volumes and growth in the first quarter. Our significant investments in IP and platforms, digital capabilities and our execution track record gives us a firm foundation to capture growth in the current financial year.”
